Plant Pull and Press (MPJ Park)

Join our educators on this guided walk to learn and collect invasive plants in the park. We’ll then press these plants to create art!

Who: Ages 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Where: Meet at the Park House, blue building to the right of the main Kent Ave entrance of Marsha P. Johnson State Park. 90 Kent Ave, Brooklyn, New York. Please be aware that the main entrance is under construction, another entrance is available a few feet up between N 8th street and N 9th street.
All materials will be provided. This program will involve volunteer weeding at the park!
PLEASE NOTE:
- Registration is recommended for all participants to secure your space in the program. Please reserve one ticket per individual.
- If you are more than 10 minutes late your ticket may be released to walk up participants.
- If the program is sold out, but you still wish to attend, we encourage you to walk up and see if space is available.
- In the case of inclement weather, the program may be rescheduled or canceled. Please be sure to check your email a few hours before the program starts.
