Park Alliance Meet-Up (North Brooklyn)

Calling all parks groups, friends, volunteers, advocates, and neighbors, we think we need to see more of each other in 2022! Please RSVP for the first Park Alliance Meet-up of the new year on January 20, 2022,

Our bi-monthly convening (or meet-up’s) will be approximately 90 minutes and are open to anyone interested in parks, gardens, and public space. The format will be friendly and informal, and the topics “light”. Let’s exchange ideas about our favorite public space, its care, growth, design, and history and trade resources, photos, and (hopefully) garden tips. A photo contest will kick off each meeting, so bring your best pic of an NBK public space to share with the group; the winner gets a prize courtesy of TEND GREENPOINT

We plan on inviting guest presenters to each of the meet-ups and, as the weather improves, host an in-person session and (fingers-crossed) a memorable field trip. This January, we welcome Olive Community Garden, Friends of Copper Park, and Bedford Slip presentations.

So SAVE THE DATES: 6:30 PM Thursdays, JAN 20, APR 21, JUN 23, and OCT 27 and get to know all the places, faces, and resources that makeup NBK’s green network.
