Painted Paper Collaged Cards (Bushwick Inlet Park)

Join Friends of Bushwick Inlet Park for an afternoon of painting & cut paper collaging with local gardener, artist and card designer Llubav.
Llubav will share her tips and techniques to demonstrate how she creates her beautiful and whimsical designs. We will have a mixture of colorful and textured raw materials, which we will then paint, draw, cut and make shapes which will be glued to a larger sheet of paper or cardstock to create a unique and playful collage.

We will have supplies on hand to create a floral mother’s day card or a design of your choosing – in time to celebrate Spring or Mother’s Day!
Suggested Supplies:
Paper or Tissue Paper you might want to use
Scissors (comfortable size to cut small shapes)
Big and medium sized brushes
Elmers liquid glue, paste or glue stick
Colored Paints (Acrylic, Guache, Tempera, Watercolor)
No experience necessary. Registration required. *Children 14 and over (high school students) are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
