- Guest Speaker: Ryan Mahoney. Ryan’s career spans the conservation of native bee and bat species that impact our ecological and economic systems, studying the ecological impacts of human processes on wildlife, enhancing the resilience of wetlands/coastal ecosystems, and preserving biodiversity. Ryan established the Native Bee and Pollinator Conservation Initiative at Riverside Park Conservancy, found and led the Gotham Bat Conservancy, Ambassadorship with the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation and holds a New York State Wildlife Rehabilitator license.
