Join NYC H2O for discussion about local native wildflowers with NYCWW week executive director and founder Marielle Anzelone about NYCWW’s new city-wide wildflower initiative!

What do wildflowers, ballot boxes, and Wednesday Addams have in common? Hear more about NYCWW’s new citywide initiative in partnership with Brooklyn Botanic Garden, The High Line, New York Botanical Garden, Queens Botanical Garden, and the Staten Island Museum.

New York City is filled with wild flora – majestic trees, rare wildflowers, wetland grasses – that are critical to the ecological function of the City’s ecosystems.

Marielle Anzelone, is an urban ecologist & founder of NYC Wildflower Week. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, the Daily News and on WNYC public radio.
