We must nurture our bodies as well as we nurture the land. Together we’ll explore the body, loosening tight muscles while focusing on connecting breath to movement. We’ll pay special attention to alleviating tension in the lower back, opening up the hips and most importantly opening up our hearts.

Led by Kim Curtis, a yoga instructor, community organizer and a BUG graduate. In recent years her holistic passions gave vision for By Our Hands which provides organic herbs, remedies and holistic workshops to underserved communities. She serves on the board of the Urban Resource Institute and Howard Garden in Brownsville Brooklyn. Her goal when teaching is that everyone feels open to express themselves freely through breath and movement.
