MFTA Gallery Opening: “Everything and Nothing at All” by Barak Chamo

Thursday, March 24th, 2022 at 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Free

Join us at Materials for the Arts for the exhibition opening of “Everything and Nothing at All” by MFTA Artist-in-Residence Barak Chamo. Previously on view at Chashama’s gallery space in Union Square, “Everything and Nothing at All” features installations exploring the ways technology manifests in our daily lives. Using discarded technologies and relics of endless consumption, Chamo’s practice is informed by his early career in engineering, and his work explores a wide range of topics, from mass surveillance to online misinformation and mechanical automation.

MFTA invites you for an evening of technological self-reflection and mindful conversations with NYC’s creative community at this special MFTA Gallery opening of Chamo’s exhibition.

The exhibition will be on view through Friday, May 6 at Materials for the Arts.
