Earth Day 2023 celebrations at McGolrick Park!
9 AM Bird Walk with Heather Wolf: Grab your binoculars and join expert birder, Heather Wolf, on a family-friendly bird walk throughout McGolrick Park. 
Meet at the corner of Russell and Driggs.
10 AM – 12 PM Earth Day Community Cleanup: Show the earth and our park some love by joining a litter clean up. Tools, including trash pickers and buckets will be provided. All ages are welcome!
10:30 AM Storytime with Greenpoint Library: BYO park blanket and hear a story from our local librarian. Bird-themed book giveaway while supplies last! Meet in the grassy area on the Russell Street side of the park.
11 AM – 1 PM Childrens Clothing Swap: Bring clean, gently used, reusable kids’ garments, and restock items for your little one. Spring and summer clothes are appreciated. Meet in the grassy area on the Russell Street side of the park.
Plant Swap! Bring a plant, take a plant: Propagated cuttings and healthy potted plants are welcome. Extra credit for identifying the plant you bring!
