Earth Day 2023 celebrations at McGolrick Park!
🐦 9 AM Bird Walk with Heather Wolf: Grab your binoculars and join expert birder, Heather Wolf, on a family-friendly bird walk throughout McGolrick Park. 📍Meet at the corner of Russell and Driggs.
🧹 10 AM – 12 PM Earth Day Community Cleanup: Show the earth and our park some love by joining a litter clean up. Tools, including trash pickers and buckets will be provided. All ages are welcome!
📚 10:30 AM Storytime with Greenpoint Library: BYO park blanket and hear a story from our local librarian. Bird-themed book giveaway while supplies last! 📍Meet in the grassy area on the Russell Street side of the park.
🧹 11 AM – 1 PM Childrens Clothing Swap: Bring clean, gently used, reusable kids’ garments, and restock items for your little one. Spring and summer clothes are appreciated. 📍Meet in the grassy area on the Russell Street side of the park.
🌱 Plant Swap! Bring a plant, take a plant: Propagated cuttings and healthy potted plants are welcome. Extra credit for identifying the plant you bring!
