The Next 100 Years of McGolrick Park
COMMUNITY VISIONING SESSION
MCGOLRICK PAVILION | SUN. NOV 10 | 10AM-12PM
“The Next 100 Years of McGolrick Park” is a three-year initiative to create and execute a sustainable horticultural model for the future of the park, lead by North Brooklyn Parks Alliance and supported by The Greenpoint Community Environmental Fund (GCEF).
Community input is an important component of “The Next 100 Years of McGolrick Park.” Your feedback will inform our comprehensive work plan and recommendations for future investment in the park.
Here’s how to get involved:
ATTEND A VISIONING SESSION on Sunday, November 10 (10-12PM) at the McGolrick Pavilion. Sign up below.
COMPLETE THE VISIONING MCGOLRICK SURVEY: Take approximately 3 minutes to answer questions about your priorities for the park.
GCEF is a joint grant program of the New York State Office of the Attorney General and Department of Environmental Conservation with monies obtained through a settlement with ExxonMobil over its Greenpoint oil spill.
This project is the GCEF’s final grant allocation and builds on a decade of historic GCEF investment in McGolrick Park that totaled more than $600,000, including improvements to the dog run, restored garden beds, and numerous public art and educational programs.
