This coming Saturday, 8/3. Driggs Avenue in McCarren will be closed to motor vehicle traffic starting at 10 am. North Brooklyn Neighbors will be there testing the air, and sharing with the public about our air quality work and information on some of the alarming findings of soil lead contamination that we’ve uncovered in specific areas of McCarren Park.
Come chat with them and some of the other awesome groups doing important work in North Brooklyn.
