Kids Week: Nature Journaling (Ft Greene Park)

Even when school’s out, our parks are still the city’s natural classroom! Bring your kids to parks throughout the city for Kids Week during Spring Break. With programs led by our Urban Park Rangers, kids will get to experience nature in a hands-on and fun way. Join the Urban Park Ranger in designing a nature journal from common plants found in NYC Parks. You can gather your own fallen plant materials you find in the park or use pre-collected plant leaves/flowers to create your own nature journal entries, through stamping the plant shapes and patterns onto the pages.
