Green-Wood’s Green Adventure For Families

Join us for GREEN ADVENTURE DAY, a fun-filled event for the whole family! Enjoy nature walks, explore with microscopes, participate in crafts, listen to stories, sing songs, and much more! Families are welcome to attend this FREE public program at Green-Wood on Sunday, April 27th, from 10am-1pm! Here’s a preview of what’s in store:

Guided Nature Walks: Spot birds, insects, fungi, and plants with expert naturalists and members of the New York Mycological Society @newyorkmyc
Microscope Exploration: Get an up-close view of the tiny wonders of nature using microscopes and samples from Genspace
Eco-Friendly Crafts: Try paper-making, nature drawing, and decorating with DIY mushroom inks
Storytime & Songs: Enjoy readings and sing-alongs with @rashahamidauthor of “How to Bird” and “Hello, Beech Tree!”
Scavenger Hunts: Explore Green-Wood at your own pace with our self-guided nature hunt!
