Join the Fort Tryon Park Trust and the Alley Pond Environmental Center to learn more about how we can protect wildlife! This vital program will distinguish between the terms threatened, endangered, and extinct, allowing students to understand why so many animal populations are disappearing at an alarming rate. Additionally, participants will examine products of the illegal wildlife trade and learn how you can play a part in protecting threatened species. APEC instructors will bring live animals, including a chinchilla & tiger salamander, to this free children’s program.
