What’s Up with Curbside Composting? (New Lots Library)

Saturday, March 22nd at 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Free

Come learn about the choices we as New Yorkers face today around composting and climate justice with Big Reuse.

Have you been hearing that separating your food scraps and yard trimmings will be enforced in Spring 2025 across all five boroughs? Wondering what that means for you and your neighbors? Come learn the what, when, where, how of the free NYC curbside composting service. What food scraps can and can’t go to curbside? How do you store them? How does curbside work in large high-rises? How do other food scrap drop off options fit in with curbside?

This is a time to ask all your questions, troubleshoot issues, and share ideas!
