Compost Bag and Kitchen Container Distribution

Curbside composting begins in Brooklyn on October 2nd, 2023.

Stop by these libraries today to learn how to participate in Curbside Composting and how to get a free DSNY brown bin at your residence! Attendees will receive free 1-lb bags of compost for their houseplants and kitchen compost containers while supplies last. Kitchen Containers are small bins that allow you to keep the food scraps in your kitchen separate from your trash and other recyclables.
