Saturday, March 29th at 12:00 PM - 1:15 PM

Free

Come learn about the choices we as New Yorkers face today around composting and climate justice with Big Reuse.

Want to learn more about what is happening – and not happening – with composting in NYC today? Take a dive with Big Reuse into the rich heap of compost history for a better understanding of the choices New York City and New Yorkers face today in addressing waste management/organics recycling problems on a mass scale. Curbside, smart bins, community composting, aerobic processing, anaerobic digestion, waste equity, food waste -– we’ll process all of it!

This event is for anyone trying to figure out how best to compost in NYC right now and how to advocate for citywide compost policies that support climate justice.
