Community Planting And Tree Bed Beautification Day (Greenpoint)

🌿 Saturday, June 6 | 9:30 AM–11:30 AM| Corner of Oak Street & West Street
Help make our neighborhood greener, cleaner, and more beautiful! Join the 23 West/40 Oak Tenants’ Association for a morning of planting flowers, refreshing tree beds, and connecting with neighbors at the corner of Oak and West.
Thanks to soil provided through the City’s Clean Soil Project and plants and tools donated by community members, all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a willingness to get your hands a little dirty. Whether you can stay for the entire event or just stop by for a few minutes, every helping hand makes a difference.
This beautification effort is part of a larger community initiative. The 23 West/40 Oak Tenants’ Association is also working with the Oak Street Block Association and Council Member Lincoln Restler’s office on future improvements, including tree guards and additional block cleanups along West Street between Oak and Noble.
Come meet your neighbors, help care for our shared streetscape, and leave a lasting impact on the block. Families, friends, and volunteers of all ages are welcome!
