Climate Sing (Brooklyn Bridge Park)

Sunday, June 21st at 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Event Series (See All)
Free

Join us for our second annual Climate Sing gathering in Brooklyn Bridge Park!

Join for a communal sing-along, community building, and climate awareness gathering. This year, we’re featuring a brand-new song written and led by Martha Redbone – known for her unique gumbo of folk, blues, and gospel. Come listen, and sing along! We’ll also be performing previous commissions by Sxip Shirey and Eisa Davis. Lift up your voice, participate in a joyful noise! Let’s create a new soundtrack for the planet.

Bring your picnic blankets and snacks. Also join for creative art-making activities. This free walk-up event is open to all ages.

Climate Sing was created by Amanda Cooper, Lisa D’Amour, Katie Pearl, Jonathan McCrory, and Niegel Smith.

This event is a part of Make Music New York.
