Garden Tours and Volunteer Day: 3 Sister Gardens in Bed-Stuy!

T&T Block Association Garden, Vernon and Throop Community Garden, and Tranquility Farm are 3 sister gardens on the same block in Bed-Stuy! The gardens are creating space for those who are curious and willing to dig in. Join us for a tour of the 3 gardens and a hands-on volunteer session! No prior experience necessary – beginners are welcome! GreenThumb will provide supplies and facilitation.

This is a great opportunity to support a dynamic community space while learning about urban agriculture, composting, and chickens in the gardens! Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and bring water and snacks. Note: Some tasks may involve lifting heavy materials and extended periods of bending, squatting, and moving.

Meeting Location: We will be starting at 11:00am Sharp at T&T Community Garden, 200 Vernon Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11206
