43rd Annual GreenThumb Harvest Fair

The 43rd Annual GreenThumb Harvest Fair will take place on Saturday, September 24th from Noon to 4:00 p.m. at Friends of Brook Park Community Garden in the Bronx! Join us to celebrate GreenThumb gardeners as the community gardening season comes to a close with workshops, greening partners, and more. Harvest Fair Competition
GreenThumb gardeners, as you work on your community garden this season, keep the GreenThumb Harvest Fair Competition in mind. Whether you grow vegetables, flowers, or are growing ingredients to include in your favorite dish, there is a category and entry for you.

The competition is open to anyone that gardens in a registered GreenThumb community garden. Winners will be announced on Saturday, September 24th during the 43rd Annual GreenThumb Harvest Fair at Friends of Brook Park Community Garden.

Fresh Chef Contest
Our traditional Fresh Chef Contest will challenge 10 community members to replicate their most delicious version of a surprise dish demonstrated by Chef Yadira Garcia, also known as Happy Healthy Latina. The cook-off will conclude with crowning a winner chosen by Chef Yadira and a panel of guest judges.
