12th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep

Come clean your River!

We welcome you to take part in the 12th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep, our annual day of service for the Hudson River and its tributaries. Join a shoreline cleanup, an invasive species removal project, or a tree planting project at a location near you.

Check back here on March 31st when registrations go live.

In the meantime, here’s how you can get involved:

• Organize a project. Interested in leading a project at a park or shoreline in your community? Submit the Sweep Leader Interest Form and we will reach out with more information about organizing your own project.
• Suggest a location. Is there a park or shoreline in your community in need of a cleanup? Submit a Prospective Community Cleanup Locations Form to let us know of any areas that are overrun with litter or invasive plants.
• Stay informed. Interested in pitching in? Submit the Volunteer Interest Form to receive updates about volunteering, locations and logistics.
• Be a sponsor. Do you own a business interested in helping restore the Hudson River? Email events@riverkeeper.org for more information about sponsoring the 2023 Riverkeeper Sweep.
• Raise money for Sweep. Connecting your friends and family to Riverkeeper witha fundraiser for Sweep is a powerful way to expand our network of members and supporters, who make it possible to do even more for our waterways.
