E-Waste and Textile Collection (Greenpoint Library)

Join us for a day of events promoting the care of the things we own.

Hold on to those electronics and textiles! We will have an e-waste and textile collection event in partnership with the Department of Sanitation, powered by Lower East Side Ecology Center.  Let’s recycle the things we own responsibly!

E-waste collected at these events include: household and office electronics (computers, laptops, keyboards, printers), smaller entertainment electronics (video game consoles, cell phones, MP3 players), and TVs, VCRs, DVDs, DVRs.

*Unacceptable items: commercial e-waste, household appliances, air conditioners, batteries, lightbulbs.

Textiles collected at these events include: clothing, shoes, accessories, linens, and all fabric items that are clean, dry, and unsoiled. Textile dropoffs must be in bags!

The event will take place outside of the library on Norman Ave.
