Town Square’s popular Greencycle “Post-Holiday” Swap is planned for Saturday, February 8th ~ just in time for you to clear out the old to make room for the new! Or quietly give away those “unexpected” gifts.
Join us to recycle, reuse and reduce! Drop off your cleaned and useable CLOTHES, SHOES, BOOKS, & TOYS – and browse the selection. Every Greencycle Swap saves +1,500 pounds of perfectly good stuff from our landfills!
SIMPLE RULES:
• RSVP here: https://forms.gle/8Y2nRofES52Guh2Z9
• ONLY cleaned, gently used, working and useable items please.
• NO need to bring things to take things.
• ONLY clothes, shoes, books & toys. We will not accept household items, baby gear, electronics, furniture, etc.
• Out of consideration for others, we may limit folks to 1 bag or the number of bags that you’ve brought to donate to the swap.
• We do NOT allow taking donated items to resell. Why? Because all remaining items are donated to local homeless shelters and other non-profits to help neighbors truly in need.
Suggested donation: $10 a family to help cover costs and support local Scouts. Town Square is a qualified 501(c)(3) not‐for‐profit institution. Your donation will be TAX DEDUCTIBLE to the full extent of the law. For more info, please contact Town Square at 347.559.1410 or [email protected]. We gratefully thank our partners and sponsors: NYC CM Lincoln Restler; NYC CM Jennifer Gutiérrez; BBP Antonio Reynoso; truly awesome Brooklyn Boy Scouts Troop 26 and Cub Scouts Lucky Pack 7; NYC DYCD; NYPD 94th Precinct; Home Life Services, and John Ericsson M.S. 126.
Since 2008, Town Square has been promoting environmental consciousness at the local level through our Greencycle Swaps. We firmly believe that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure! Please help our neighbors while benefiting our environment.
