Join us for a Bug Hunt at Marsha P. Johnson State Park! Discover how pollination impacts our ecosystem through this interactive walk.

About this event

Butterflies, grasshoppers, beetles and more! Discover what critters live Marsha P. Johnson State Park and test your skills with a net on this bug hunt!

Who: All ages. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

All materials will be provided at this FREE event.

Where: Meet at the Park House (blue building with public bathrooms) at Marsha P. Johnson State Park.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Registration is highly recommended for all participants, to secure your space in the program. Please reserve one ticket per individual.
  • If we do not hear from you 10 minutes into the program, we will release your reservation to walk-up participants.
  • If the program is sold out, but you still wish to attend, we encourage you to walk up and see if space is available.
  • In the case of inclement weather, the program may be rescheduled or canceled. Please be sure to check your email a few hours before the program starts.
