Holiday Tree Drop-Offs and Chipping Weekends
Join NYC Parks in recycling your holiday tree! Starting Tuesday, December 26, 2023 through Sunday, January 7, 2024, do the Earth a favor and drop off your tree at any Mulchfest location during park hours between December 26 and January 7 or lend a hand at Chipping Weekend on Saturday, January 6 and Sunday, January 7!. The trees will be collected by staff members and volunteers and turned into mulch for the public to use.
