Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks in NYC
Tuesday, July 4th, 2023 at 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM
The fireworks will take place on Tuesday, July 4th at 9:20 PM. Over 60,000 shells and special effects will be launched from 5 barges on the East River centered in Midtown Manhattan, between E. 26th and E. 40th Streets. A star-studded televised special will air from 8 PM – 10 PM. The show will feature performances by top artists.
Macy’s official “best places” to watch the fireworks on the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens waterfronts are:
- Brooklyn: Newtown Barge Park; Transmitter Park; and Marsha P. Johnson State Park
- Manhattan: 1st Avenue and East 42nd Street; 1st Avenue and East 34th Street; 1st Avenue and East 20th Street
- Queens: Gantry Plaza State Park
