Public Hearing on Proposed Transmitter Park’s Private Restaurant and 40-Boat Marina

Franchise and Concession Review Committee and the Department of Parks and Recreation (“Parks”) is holding a public hearing on Transmitter Park on 8/10/26, at 255 Greenwich St. 8th Floor – 2:30PM
.
The proposal will demolish the park’s existing abandoned building and construct a new restaurant with public restrooms, followed by a seasonal marina with up to 40 boat slips, kayak and paddleboard rentals, and free programming. Community members will have the opportunity to share feedback at the public hearing in person or submitted in writing in advance to: fcrc@mocs.nyc.gov or the QR code below; all written testimony can be submitted until close of the public hearing and will be distributed to the FCRC after the hearing.
