New York Philharmonic Concert in the Park (Prospect Park)

Since 1965, audiences have gathered with family and friends on the lawns of New York City parks to enjoy a beloved summer tradition: free music by starlight at the New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks, Presented by Didi and Oscar Schafer. This year, Principal Cello Carter Brey performs Saint-Saëns’s thrilling Cello Concerto No. 1, in a program featuring American and French concert favorites conducted by Elim Chan. The celebration continues after every outdoor concert with dazzling fireworks displays lighting up the night sky!
