Sunday, August 16, 2026, 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.  We’ll retrace the steps of the British and American troops during the Revolutionary War. Location: Lawn Area in John Paul Jones Park, Brooklyn. Directions to this location

Sunday, August 23, 2026, 10:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m.  We’ll walk through historic neighborhoods (from Fort Greene to Brooklyn Heights) and discuss Brooklyn’s transformation from British occupation to the development of the Navy Yard and construction of the Brooklyn Bridge. Learn how history never occurs in a vacuum and why all these areas are connected. Location: Fort Greene Park Visitor Center in Fort Greene Park Accessible Brooklyn. Directions to this location
