Working with designers and engineers, and with funding support by the Greenpoint Community Environmental Fund, the Greenpoint Monitor Museum is developing an environmentally beneficial design for the shoreline at the site of the proposed Greenpoint Monitor Museum and park. The project goals include restoring and fortifying the shoreline, while enhancing the ecology of the Bushwick Inlet.
Next Wednesday, June 13th, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, the Greenpoint Monitor Museum will host a public information session at the Bushwick Inlet Park Community Building on the status of their shoreline restoration and stabilization design project. Designers at AECOM will present at the meeting, and Greenpointers will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the developing design.
