Greencycle Swap: Back to School

September 9 at 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Since 2008, Town Square has been promoting environmental consciousness at the local level through our Greencycle Swaps. We firmly believe that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure!
Join us to to recycle, reuse and reduce!  Drop off your cleaned gently-used & working items, browse the selection & take away your “riches”.  No need to bring anything to take items. Out of consideration for others, we may limit folks to the 1 bag or the number of bags that you’ve brought to donate to the swap. We do not allow taking donated items to resell. Why? Because many donors make this request.  And all remaining items are donated to local homeless shelters for our neighbors truly in need.
$10 suggested donation a family to help cover costs. Town Square is a qualified 501(c)(3) not-for-profit institution. Your donation will be TAX DEDUCTIBLE to the full extent of the law. For more info, please contact Town Square at 347.559.1410 or greencycle@townsquareinc.com.
Town Square couldn’t do this without the public and their partners: CM Stephen Levin, CM Antonio Reynoso, NYC DYCD, Brooklyn Boy Scout Troop 26,  Brooklyn Public Library, Friends of Greenpoint Public Library, Friends of Leonard Public Library, Home Life Services and NYC DYCD.
