Divide in Concord

Greenpoint’s own 61 Franklin and Java Street Gardens, together with Greenpoint Landing, are teaming up this summer to present a mini-festival of sustainability films. Screenings are free, and open to the public. Opening the series is local filmmaker Kris Kaczor’s timely and very entertaining documentary Divide in Concord, which will be presented in person by the filmmaker, and introduced on by local plastic bag activist Jennie Romer. Bring something to sit on, snacks and drinks, and note that the gardens have no bathrooms.
