City of Water Day is a free annual festival organized by the Waterfront Alliance to get people to, on, and in New York Harbor and its surrounding waterways!
Join us at Seaport Square, between Pier 16 & Pier 17, for this year’s main festival. Attendees will experience the region’s largest harbor festival right where the great city we know today got its start!
Look for the ship masts and nautical flags, and imagine the days of sailmakers and stevedores, when South Street was known as the Street of Ships.
Today, our historic seaport is ready to welcome and connect New Yorkers and visitors alike to the waterfront and all it has to offer. This free waterfront festival will appeal to both kids and kids at heart with a full day of activities.
