If you’re like us, you wonder what it would take to install a green roof. But what’s the purpose of a green roof anyway? Join Newtown Creek Alliance on a tour of the McCarren Park Demonstration Garden Green Roof Project, we’ll show you two types of rooftop plantings. Tours are 30 minutes long. 2pm & 4pm, @ the Newtown Creek Alliance booth

Bring your health insurance card and photo id, and sign up for a comprehensive diagnostic testing and screening at the park. Allergy, Cardiology, Neurology, Pulmonology and Radiology specialists will be available. The goal is to stay healthy through early detection tests.  4220 Associates will accept all insurance plans and there’ll be no cost to you.  Visit the Sound Cardiology booth and sign up.
